Product Showcase - Servers
I produced a set of full CGI hero shots of various Supermicro server models. The project was carried out for BX Films, and the clips are incorporated into various larger videos. Some were added to the keynote speech at Computex 2025, by Supermicro CEO Charles Liang, joined by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

Process.
Highly detailed server CAD models were provided by the client, and had to be fully set up with realistic materials and finishes. Models included internal components like PCBs and other chips, all of which had to be textured.
A mix of close-up shots and full product shots were required. The camera angles and motion were designed accordingly.
A specific blue color was required for the background. A stylized background was created based on this. To blend the products in, a moody blue ambient lighting set up was used.
